Abstract
The present study deals with noun determination in English and Seereer. More specific research questions will concern the uses and functioning of the possessive determiners in English and Seereer. This study will analyse the differences and the similarities of the possessive determiners in the two languages. However, English and Seereer work differently in relation to these aspects even if some similarities can be noticed.
