Corrections & Retractions:

  • Corrections are issued for minor errors, such as typographical errors, factual inaccuracies, or omissions, that do not significantly impact the overall validity or interpretation of the research findings. Authors or readers who identify errors in published articles are encouraged to notify the editorial office promptly, providing detailed information about the nature of the error and its potential impact.
  • Upon receiving a notification of an error, the editorial team conducts a thorough assessment of the reported issue to verify its accuracy and significance. If the error is deemed to warrant correction, the editorial team collaborates with the authors to prepare and publish a correction notice, detailing the nature of the error, the correct information, and any implications for the interpretation of the research findings. Retractions are issued for more serious issues, such as scientific misconduct, ethical violations, data fabrication, or other breaches of research integrity, that call into question the validity or reliability of the published article. Retractions are initiated when there is clear evidence of serious error or misconduct that undermines the credibility or validity of the research findings.
  • Retraction notices are published prominently in the journal, clearly stating the reason for retraction, providing an explanation of the issues identified, and outlining any implications for the scientific record or ethical considerations. This journal allows such authors to respond to the retraction notice and provide any relevant explanations or clarifications.

To request corrections or retractions, a submission should be made to the editorial office in writing, accompanied by supporting evidence and a detailed explanation of the concerns raised.
