Indigenous knowledge is a cultural element of the ethnic group in general and the Khmer ethnic group in particular, contributing to the diversity of ethnic culture. Although it no longer plays an important role as in traditional society, the indigenous knowledge of the Khmer people is still latent as cultural elements, still holding an important position in the present life of the Khmer in Vietnam, such as in social stability, community cohesion, educational development, etc. In this article, the author summarizes the characteristics of Khmer folklore; Indigenous knowledge theory, applied to build a system of indigenous knowledge characteristics of Khmer people. From there, the article proposes the process and some forms of teaching Khmer folklore based on the exploitation of indigenous knowledge of the Khmer in the context of profoundly renewing education in Vietnam today.

Road traffic fatalities and injuries have emerged as a challenge in the country. Nigeria has been addressing the problem over time. The dearth of an effective road safety policy and strategy for the country as well as dysentery amongst relevant agencies have compounded the road crash pandemic in Nigeria over the years. RICs not only affect the productive population of the country, it significantly shrinks the National Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by 3% per annum and impedes growth and development generally. Therefore, policies and strategies based on the safe systems approach should be introduced to mainstream and integrate various elements of road safety efforts into actualizing a safe motoring environment in Nigeria. The goal of the safe systems approach is to ensure that even when crashes occur, they do not result in serious injury or death.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of religion and national value curriculum as agent of social change for improving primary school education in Ogun State, Nigeria. The population used for the study consists of two hundred (200) primary school teachers in Odeda Local Government, Ogun State. Simple random sampling technique was used to select 20 primary school teachers which were randomly selected from each of the chosen school for the study. The research instrument used for the study was a questionnaire contain items of the study, seeking information for the purpose of this study. Two research hypotheses were tested for the study. The data collected were analyzed using Chi-square (X2) at 0.05 level of significance. The result revealed that there is significant effect of national value education curriculum on moral improvement in primary school education. It was therefore recommended that, Religion and value education should be incorporated in the national policy while inculcation of desirable values in the pupils is essential for meeting the crises of character deformormation and there should be strengthening of Religion and value education as possible paradigm for behaviour transformation and ethical reorientation.

This work is part of the realization of our doctoral thesis whose theme is "Problematic of food and nutritional practices of urban populations in precarious neighborhoods of Port-Bouët, in Abidjan (Côte d'Ivoire). This study aims to present the environment, the living environment, the socio-economic and cultural characteristics of households in precarious neighborhoods of the municipality of Port-Bouët-Abidjan. The methodology is based on (1) direct observation of the environment and living environment of households and (2) household surveys (questionnaires) and resource persons (interview guides). In the 65 precarious neighborhoods of Port-Bouët, grouped into seven zones, the majority of houses are "hard". The materials used for their constructions are made of "brick" of "relatively good" quality. The roofs of the houses are almost all composed of sheet metal, of "relatively good" quality. The doors and windows are mostly made of wood, of "relatively good" quality. The habitats are essentially two-room houses and are in common courtyards of medium size. The sanitation system is individual. Not all neighborhoods are covered by the electricity and drinking water network. The population of these neighborhoods is large and most of the heads of households are fathers who are between 26 and 80 years old, married, of Ivorian nationality and muslim religion. Their level of study is secondary and primary level. They work in informal activities with a monthly income of between 61,000 -120,000 FCFA received "per day", but not regular with monthly expenses of 31,000 to 60,000 FCFA allocated to food.

Postmodernism has had a comprehensive and far-reaching impact on Teenagers' values. Previous relevant studies mostly focused on the theoretical analysis of the negative impact of postmodernism on Teenagers' values, and there were few studies involving the positive impact of postmodernism on Teenagers' values. The purpose of this study is to make an empirical study on the impact of postmodernism on Teenagers' values by using a large sample and multi center questionnaire, in order to make an objective analysis of this problem.

On the basis of metaphor, this thesis tries to make a comparison between “zou” and “walk” from the perspective of meaning. By using qualitative analysis, the author summarizes the similarities and differences. It is found that the similarities are both the two can express the meanings of “go on foot” and “leave”. While “zou” has the meanings of “run” “visit” “reveal” and “die”. Meanings of “accompany” “accomplish something easily” and “rough up” exist in “walk”. By this research, the author aims to lessen learners and translators’ annoyance in the process of their studying and translating, and provide information for similar research.

The main objectives of this paper are to describe the changing pattern of the process of binding Miteri kinship, changing pattern in power, status, and prestige by the modernization process. Miteri Kinship has been changed, it is a kind of rational kinship, achievement-based kinship, and strategic exploitative relationship. The norms of negative reciprocity are arising in the Rai community, which tends change the Miteri kinship.

By searching and collecting relevant papers of machine translation post-editing from 1995 to 2020 in China National Knowledge Infrastructure database, this paper presents a visualized analysis on the studies of post-editing in China with the help of CiteSpace. By adopting bibliometric analysis to make investigation on general information of released papers, paper resources, main contributors, high-frequency co-occurrence words, and diachronic research hotspot of post-editing, the development process and research status is to be summarized. It also makes clear the development trend research hotspots and high-yielding countries institutions and authors with the purpose of predicting the future research direction of China in related fields. The results show that the hot topics are post-editing strategy, English translation of Chinese terms, machine translation and post-editors’ post-editing competence. The shortcoming of present studies is the lack of taxonomic theory guidance and the cultivation and education of post-editing competence and post-editors. The paper suggests that some fields be worthy of further investigation such as the establishment of post-editing assessment system, the education of post-editing, the collaboration of translation tool technicians and translators.

This program is based on a problem related to the role and position of women in the family and society. In fact, femaleness is more physically viewed which then in patriarchal culture places it as a second-class human being. This understanding is contrary to the instructions of the Qur’an. This writing seeks to give understanding to the members of the women’s orphanage of Aisyiyah Malang Indonesia about the status of women from an Islamic perspective. The method of implementation of the program uses the lectures and discussions that are carried out face-to-face. This activity is divided into three stages; approach to partners, partner participation and evaluation. The result of this activity is the increase in knowledge of the members of the women’s orphanage of Aisyiyah after the evaluation of activities. In addition, the participants realized the importance of correct understanding with regard to the role and position of women that need to be applied in their daily life.

As for the value of leisure, previous studies have mostly focused on the social value of leisure, especially its economic and cultural value and discussed it around the fields of tourism, agriculture and sports. It shows that the existing studies focus on leisure practice, tend to describe phenomena and discuss countermeasures, but pay insufficient attention to the deep theory and value of leisure. The aim of this study is to analyze the value of leisure to personal sustainable development by using the relevant theories of psychology.

Given the positions of several empirical studies supporting the routine activity theory and frustration aggression theory that economic deprivation suffered by the coastal states in Nigeria in the face of growing output in the maritime transport subsector, is responsible for maritime insecurity in Nigeria; the study investigated the influence of the growth on the trend criminality and insecurity in the subsector. It employed time series secondary data covering a period of 20 years from 2000 to 2018 in which the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), revenue generated by the maritime transport sub-sector, (MAREV) and youth unemployment rate (UNRATE) are used as proxies for economic growth and the frequency or number of pirate attacks against ships trading in Nigeria waters was used as proxy for sea piracy and armed robbery attacks against ships. Descriptive statistics and Log linear multiple regression analysis cum trend analysis methods were employed to analyze the data obtained. The results show that, the model showing the relationship depicting the influence of GDP growth, growth in revenue generated by the maritime transport sub-sector and unemployment rate on pirate attacks against ships involved in seaborne trade in the waters of Nigeria is: InPIRATE attacks = 2.760 - 1.160 In GDP - 0.05InMAREV + 0.258InUNRATE. This implies that, with a unit annual increase in GDP, pirate attacks against ships decreases by 3.81units. Similarly, with a unit annual increase in revenue generated by the maritime transport sub-sector, sea piracy and armed robbery attacks against ships in the waters of Nigeria decreases by 0.007 units while a unit increase in youth unemployment rate increases pirate attacks against ships in the Nigeria waters by 0.158units. The model showing the trend of pirate attacks against ships in Nigeria waters over the period relative to the trends of GDP, revenue generated by the maritime transport sector and youth unemployment is: PIRATE attacks = 23.386 - 0.105Xt + Ɛ; which shows a decreasing trend in attacks. It was recommended that economic growth should be translated into opportunities for economic empowerment of unemployed youth in other to bring about a significant decrease in sea piracy and armed robbery attacks against ships in Nigeria waters.

Information fraud, ID hacking, propaganda, image distortion, pornography, piracy, cyber bullying, extortion etc. Due to the availability of devices and internet, all classes of people in our country now use smart phones and internet. Where two highly educated and illiterate people are using mobile internet, its balance is not being maintained. Unlocking fake IDs using information on Facebook, Imo, WhatsApp, Instagram, Twitter, promoting private photos and videos without permission, indecent comments on body and clothing, threats of sexual and physical abuse, harassment and immorality through blackmail containing videos from shopping mall trial rooms Thousands of women are being harassed for taking advantage. The extent of harassment of women in our country on social media can be understood by reading public comments on any celebrity post. However, it is very sad that even though such incidents have been stirring up for some time, there are very few instances where cybercrimes have been punished in Bangladesh but the victims are ordinary people, women and children. Just as they are being deceived, their personal lives are also becoming miserable. In such cases, the life of the victim is just as miserable as it is emotionally damaged. If such an accident happens to a woman, she has no way to move normally outside. Many a time the bright light of life goes out because of such unpleasant incidents. Because, there are still many people in our society who point the finger at the victims of these issues. In this case, not only the victim, but also his family has to suffer. As a result, we have to accept cruelty like suicide.

The experimental classes of tourism economics course for university Tourism Management Major can help students understand and master the fundamental theories and methods in tourism economics. Taking China’s tourism economic growth as an example, this paper designs a curriculum experiment on the impact of economic growth and changes in employment rate on the growth in the tourism economy. We received significant gains from the experiments in course teaching. Students have mastered how to use excel’s built-in multiple regression programs and the application of multiple logarithmic-linear regression models in tourism economic analysis. They found that economic growth has promoted tourism demand, while the increase in unemployment rates has a significant negative impact on tourism demand, which is in line with theoretical expectations. These findings aroused students’ strong interest in the study of tourism economics course.
